I wanted to write a blog post on some fun options you can do to change up the normal movies or restaurant and bars. These activities are great for date night, girls night out, family fun, company outings and for out of town guests!

Top Golf

Featuring a high-tech driving range, games and quality food and drinks, you really can’t go to Top Golf and not have a good time. Pretty much how it works is you go up to the counter and pay for your time and they will give everyone their own card. You then go to your bay, register your play card, choose your preferred club and then you play! They have several different games you can play and it will be shown on a small screen in your bay like they do in bowling.

One of the things that I love most at Top Golf though is the service you get by your bay server/attendant while you’re there. They can answer all of your questions and they take your food and beverage orders. Ummm yeah and can we talk about the food? I was just there on a Sunday for Brunch and their food was fantastic! Eggs Benedict, waffles, Acai bowls, doughnuts, mimosas…what?! Talk about a Sunday Funday. So grab your co-workers, your date or your gang and try out Top Golf soon! I highly recommend this fun activity and they have locations in Alpharetta and Midtown.

Midtown Bowl

Located in the heart of Midtown, Midtown Bowl has been a staple for fun in our city since 1960. Good old fashioned bowling at it’s finest with a top notch staff, clean venue, good food and an impressive bar. This is absolutely a spot I would recommend over and over again to anyone looking for a fun activity with friends or a work outing.

The thing I like about bowling, is that it is the same now as it was when I was younger! No fancy technology that you need to learn to play. You walk in, rent your shoes, grab your ball and BOWL! It also gets more fun once you add in a cocktail or beer from their bar and some of their nachos and burgers don’t hurt either. They do have vegetarian options like the black bean burger I just tried which was so good!

If you live in the Atlanta area and haven’t been yet, I insist you go check them out and if you have then it’s probably time you revisit them I know I’m already planning my next girls night here!

Ponce City Market Rooftop

On the top of the very popular Ponce City is their Rooftop…complete with games, food, views and all the fun you can take. They have mini golf, lots of old school carnival games like Skee Ball, giant 3 story slides and more for entertainment.

They also have a beer garden called 9 Mile Station that serves food as well as some quick food options like pretzels. You can purchase drinks as well such as their refreshing Frose. There are always events happening up on The Roof so check their website to plan your visit. This spot is a hit for date night, night out with friends, place to bring out of towners, family and company outings. You do have to pay to go up on to the roof which I don’t like but as long as you know ahead of time then you’ll be prepared.
