Big Game – Bigger Snacks

I don’t know about you but one of my favorite things about game day is the SNACKS! I have some really easy ones that are sure to please your guests and will take you no time at all to prepare.

I like to offer my guests several options to make sure there is something for everyone. Here are three easy snacks that you won’t have to stress over and you’ll be ready to kick back and watch the game, the Halftime Show and of course the commercials!

Nibble Board

I love to have a nibble board at gatherings. Meats, cheeses, chips, crackers, dips, olives, whatever you want really. For this one I used the newest Slim Jim Savage! It’s 3 oz which is so perfect to cut up into little bites and into a bowl for guests to grab with a fork or toothpick. It has a spicy and bold flavor that I really like and I think it’s a great option for game day. And there is 18 grams of protein in each stick!

Easy & Delicious Dip

You can’t have a game day gathering without a dip! This Garlic Chickpea Dip with Chips is like a hummus, is super easy to prepare, and is packed with flavor. This dip will score a big touchdown with your guests! And I have the best cooking hack for you! Find Dorot Gardens Crushed Garlic in the frozen food aisle at your local grocery store. One cube equals one garlic clove. No peeling, no chopping and no smelly hands! I love their pre-proportioned herbs and garlic, they are so fresh and make cooking much easier.

Just Pop For Flavor

Pop two Dorot Gardens Crushed Garlic Cubes, One 15 oz can chickpeas (drained), ½ lemon zested and juiced, 4 sprigs fresh thyme leaves (stripped from stems), a few drops hot sauce, coarse salt and pepper, ¼ cup extra-virgin olive oil and your favorite chips for dipping.

Combine the chickpeas, garlic, lemon zest and juice, thyme, salt and pepper and hot sauce in the food processor. Turn the processor on and add in the extra-virgin olive oil. Transfer the dip to a dish and surround with chips. You can also turn this into a more traditional hummus just by adding sesame oil or Tahini. Enjoy!

Munchies

My favorite snacks on game day are the munchie ones! I am hooked on the BIGS Little Caesar’s ExtraMostBestest Pepperoni Pizza Sunflower Seeds! That’s right, now you can enjoy the taste of Little Caesar’s Pepperoni Pizza anywhere. These fire-roasted sunflower seeds are delicious and bursting with flavor!

Enjoy the Big Game and these delicious snacks!
